Married spouses in Ontario can choose to sort out their family law issues by way of a Marriage Contract and by doing so can resolve all of their family law issues without having to proceed to court.
Marriage Contracts are enforceable and only in limited circumstances will a court set aside a Marriage Contract if the circumstances surrounding the negotiation and completion of the Marriage Contract were unfair.
